    Andrew Seager Cole is a composer and media artist. His work explores the intersection of eco-acoustics, noise, and technology, and he regularly collaborates with artists, filmmakers, and choreographers. Andrew's music has been presented at festivals such as June in Buffalo, SoundSCAPE, SEAMUS, and the International Computer Music Conference. His compositions have been recorded on the OCD Media, Vox Novus, and Music from SEAMUS CD Series labels. Awards include a 2013 Fulbright Fellowship to New Zealand, a Lilburn Trust Student Composition Award, First place in the 2008 National Association of Composers USA Young Composer's Competition, the 2006 Prix d'Ete Competition, and the Robert Hall Lewis and Otto Ortman Awards. Andrew holds degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Peabody Conservatory, and Goucher College, and a graduate diploma in music from the New Zealand School of Music.

  • Sustained Dialogue Training Workshop Part 2

    Students, staff and faculty will learn more about Sustained Dialogue project and receive training on valuable skills. Anyone who has completed the first day of training with Sustained Dialogue and is interested in becoming a Sustained Dialogue Moderator must attend this second day of training. Part 2 of the training will focus on establishing dialogue groups, be introduced to moderator resources and will get to practice moderating inclusive dialogues.   • Sustained Dialogue Training Workshop Part 2

    Bystander intervention training is an interactive and educational presentation that aims to provide students with a better understanding of consent and sexual violence in our culture, as well as the skills and information they need to effectively intervene in situations of sexual misconduct on campus.

    Rhythmplex creates experiences. Projects have involved releasing music as a book, using taste to conjur memories and developing an event disguised as physical media. Through ideas, energy and work, innovative and inspired moments occur where change can be felt by all involved.

    Directed by Jon Mueller since 2009, project partnerships have included AIGA, Alverno Presents, Eaux Claires Festival and Viva! Art Montreal. Whether involving teams of people from various disciplines or simply Mueller himself, the aim for all projects is to reveal something meaningful, memorable and useful.

    Since 2015, Jon Mueller and Dawn Springer have worked in collaboration on INITIATION and A Magnetic Center. Their work together has been described as "mesmerizing" (Spin Magazine) and an "inherently visceral experience" (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel).

    Ambassador in Residence Robert Neus will discuss varied career and internship opportunities with the U.S. Department of State. The Department of State advises the President and leads the nation in foreign policy issues.
