Hours, Location, Contact & Parking

Hours

The Lawrence University Box Office is open 1:00-6:00pm Monday through Saturday during the academic school year (September-June). The Box Office will also be open one hour prior to all ticketed performances.
Please note that the Box Office will typically be closed over Winter Break (Thanksgiving - New Year) and Spring Break (March 15 - 23, 2024), as our student staff will be away from campus.  Tickets may still be purchased online at these times.

Parking

Parking is available during the day on Washington Street and Park behind the Music-Drama Center. Parking for events is available on the street as well as in the parking lots off of Union Street to the east of Memorial Chapel. Handicapped parking is available in the parking lot east of Memorial Chapel.

Purchasing Tickets

In Person

Tickets can be purchased in person at our Box Office during open hours.

Over the Phone

Tickets can be ordered over the phone during our open hours*. Our phone number is 920-832-6749. We will return your call if you leave a message while we are closed. 

Online

Tickets can be purchased online here. *

*All tickets purchased over the phone or online are subject to a $4 dollar convenience fee per order. 


Event Night Information

Will Call Tickets

Will call tickets are available for pickup in the lobby of the Memorial Chapel beginning one hour before the start of the show. If the event is in Harper Hall, Stansbury Theater or Cloak Theater the will call will be in the lobby by the box office. Any will call tickets purchased prior to one hour before the show will be with the will call at the location of the performance. Tickets purchased over the phone or online within one hour of the performance will be available for pickup at the box office. 

Will call tickets myst be paid for at the time your order is placed. We cannot hold tickets without payment. 

Purchasing Tickets the Night of an Event

Tickets, if still available, are sold at the Box Office one hour before each performance. 


Non-Ticketed Performances

Information about non-ticketed performances such as ensemble concerts or recitals can be found on the University Calendar or by calling the conservatory office at 920-832-6932. For information about other campus events or athletic events please see the calendars and events page, or call the information desk at 920-832-7000.


Discounts

We are pleased to offer discounts for the following categories as well as for group sales. Prices will vary depending on the event.

Senior

Any person at or over the age of 62.

Students & Children

Any person enrolled full time in an academic institution, this includes high school and college students as well as children under the age of 3.

Group Sales

We offer a discount for any group over 15. 


Restrooms, Lost & Found, Smoking, Food & Drink

Restrooms

Chapel

Restrooms are located at the south end of the Chapel. There is a gender neutral and handicapped accessible restroom on the ground floor. Additional restrooms are down the stairs from the Chapel lobby. 

Harper, Stansbury and Cloak

Restrooms are located to the north end of the lobby. A gender neutral stall is located down the hallway to the south. Additional restrooms are available down the stairs by the box office. 

Lost and Found

Items left at performances may be claimed by calling the conservatory office at 920-832-6612 the first weekday following the performance. 

Smoking, Food and Drink

Smoking

All Lawrence University spaces are smoke-free. Smoking is permitted along city streets or in designated outdoor smoking areas. 

Food and Drink

No food or drink are allowed in the seating areas of performances spaces. Should you need refreshment during performances, vending machines are available in the lower lobby of the main conservatory building. 


Photography and Recording

All photography and recording of events is strictly prohibited. Violators are subject to removal.  

Late Arrivals and Electronic Courtesy

Late Arrivals

Our of courtesy to the performers and other audience members, patrons arriving after the performance has started will be seated at the discretion of the ushers. 

Electronic Courtesy

Please remember to turn off all cellular phones, pages, electronic watch alarms and other noise making devices before the start of the performance. 


Accessibility

There is handicapped accessible seating available in all of our performance venues. Please indicate to the box office the type of accommodation you need when you place your order so that our staff can make necessary arrangements. 

Handicapped ramps are located on the east side of the Memorial Chapel as well as both north and south sides of the main conservatory entrance. 

We also offer devices upon request for the hearing impaired to amplify the audio.
