Join the club at Shorewood's Draft and Vessel for a hand-picked beer tasting and talk with bar manager Eric Gutbrod discuss the history of beer in Milwaukee, beer trends, tastings and German beer history. Registration covers a four-beer sampler, sandwiches and discussion. Eric has over 15 years of experience working with beer, has earned his Cicerone Certification (beer equivalent of Wine Sommelier) and has a wealth of knowledge to share. $20 per person, pay at the door. Based on Toni Morrison’s first novel, The Bluest Eye is a heartrending coming of age story about a young black girl in 1940s Ohio. This powerful adaptation explores the destructive power of a racist society and the strength of a community attempting to embrace an era of change. Happy Hour following the performance at Sea Change with stage manager and alumna Katie Hawkinson '09. Ticket block reserved, $26 per person. Tickets must be purchased by March 22.

Join the LU Club of the Twin Cities at Shindig for a fun evening celebrating wine, Nicholas "Doc" Maravolo on his retirement and Lawrence relationships in the area. Doc has hand selected the wine choices for the evening and will be going over the basics of tasting, wine pairing with food and how to select the right wine. Appetizers and wine included, $25 per person. REGISTER
