EXPLORE sophoMORE Program

EXPLORE sophoMORE will help you focus on exploring your identities, communities, and purpose in a small group of peers. You will have opportunities to strengthen interpersonal skills, connect with alumni mentors, and explore off campus.

Based on research about the sophomore experience at higher education institutions across the U.S.,  EXPLORE sophoMORE offers a small group setting where you can engage in big thinking, honest discussion, and awesome adventures that help you excel at your transition from "first year student who is just trying to survive" to "upperclass student who has it figured out".

Some questions we hope for you to be closer to answering after participating:

  • Who am I? Why does it matter? (Identity)
  • Who do I care about and belong with? How do I connect to others/the world around me? (Community)
  • Who and What do I want to become, and Why? (Purpose)

Want to learn more or have questions before you apply? Please feel free to reach out to Dean of the Sophomore Class, Rose Wasielewski, at rose.wasielewski@lawrence.edu.
