We completed our first Lawrence University Habitat for Humanity co-sponsored home. The Dedication Ceremony took place on December 8, 2007.
J.J. Keller & Associates has generously co-sponsored the home with us and given us all the volunteer spots in support of Youth Leadership. Various Lawrence University clubs and teams got involved, as well as individual students and our campus Habitat for Humanity chapter.
We have been fundraising for the past six years and last year, we finally raised enough money to co-sponsor a home. So far, this has been an amazing experience that has allowed us to reach out to the community and get the whole campus involved. We would like to show our appreciation to JJ Keller for letting us fill the volunteer spots and therefore allowing more of the Lawrence Campus to get involved.
