Earth Week 2011

From April 17 to 26, Greenfire is hosting an Earth Week at Lawrence University. Numerous events will occur throughout the week, then on Saturday April 23, Greenfire will host its 20th Annual Earth Day celebration on Main Hall Green (rain-site: campus center, 2nd floor) with informational booths, live music, food, crafts, and more. On Tuesday the 26th, Chris Paine, director of the award-winning Who Killed the Electric Car? (2006) and Revenge of the Electric Car (premiering Earth Day 2011), will speak at Lawrence. See our Calendar for a visual on the week's proceedings.

If your student organization or business is interested in having a booth at our April 23 event or if you are a musician or part of a music group that would like to perform, please contact us at greenfire@lawrence.edu.
