Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band provides dedicated woodwind, brass and percussion players the opportunity to prepare and perform challenging band literature. The ensemble is open to sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth-grade band students from all Fox Valley communities. The band is open to band students with a minimum one year of experience on their instrument and with teacher recommendation. No audition necessary.

Membership in Academy instrumental ensembles is meant to augment, not replace, school bands or orchestras.  Therefore, we expect all Academy ensemble members to be enrolled in a curricular performance ensemble when one is available.
