Jaclyn Kottman '12 - Voice

Headshot of smiling teacher in a teal shirt.Jaclyn Kottman,voice instructor, is a choral music teacher in the Appleton Area School District at Einstein Middle School and Classical School, and teacher-conductor of the Arioso Girl Choir. She graduated from Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Choral and General Music Education and a minor in Religious Studies. Prior to joining the Academy teaching staff, Kottman taught in New Zealand, Costa Rica, and Boston, and served as a manager and conducting intern with all three middle and high school Academy Girl Choirs. She is a member of the Wisconsin Music Educators Association (WMEA), the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), and the Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity. Kottman is a recipient of Lawrence University’s Pi Kappa Lambda Award for excellence in music education and is the 2018 recipient of the Outstanding Young Choral Director Award from the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association.
