Due to the COVID-19 virus, all Academy programming will be suspended beginning this Wednesday, March 18. The Academy building will be closed to the public during this time period. We have also cancelled all youth ensemble concerts through the Academy for this month, which includes Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble, ASTRO and Philharmonia, and Girl Choir. At this point, auditions and summer programs are expected to proceed as scheduled.

Registered Families: Please check your email for further details.

Concert Ticket Refunds

We have cancelled all spring youth ensemble concerts through the Academy, which includes Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble, ASTRO and Philharmonia, and Girl Choir.

We would be tremendously grateful for anyone willing to consider their ticket purchase a donation to the Academy. Your tickets support all the work we do, including providing access to music instruction for 1 in 10 Academy students annually who would otherwise be unable to afford music instruction.

For those who purchased concert tickets, refunds will be offered for all cancelled Academy performances. The Lawrence University Box Office will be able to begin processing refunds on Wednesday, March 18. The building is closed to outside visitors at this time; families will only be able to reach the box office by phone at 920-832-6749 or by email at box_office@lawrence.edu.

The box office hours are as follows:

  • March 18-21 - 12:30-4:00 p.m.
  • March 22 - closed
  • March 23-28 - 12:30-4:00 p.m.
  • March 29 - closed
