Why does the Mudd Library have a level A?
Level A is a part of the Samuel Appleton addition that was added to the former Carnegie Library in 1962. When the Carnegie Library was razed, the Samuel Appleton addition was retained and made part of the Seeley G. Mudd Library in 1974.
