Virtual Reality Station Request Form
A computer with Unreal 4, Steam, Blender, and other software for game and virtual reality (VR) experience developing is located in the media center on the first floor of the library. While the computer may be used without a reservation, the HTC Vive VR headset and area around the computer may be reserved for testing out VR in development, class demos, or trying a VR experience. Setup and take down takes about 20 minutes and will be done by the makerspace coordinator or student assistant. To use the HTC Vive, please submit the following reservation form and we will work with you to find a time that works with everyone's schedule. The VR headset and computer are only available for Lawrence University students, faculty, and staff. Academic use gets priority. If you just want to try out the VR headset for a few minutes for fun, open sessions will be scheduled throughout the school year.
