The table below contains the most commonly occurring statuses our patrons will see in their interlibrary loan accounts. If you see a status in your interlibrary loan account that is not listed here, contact our Interlibrary Loan department for assistance.

Awaiting Borrowing ScanningAn article request has been received and is being processed for electronic delivery by the ILL staff.
Awaiting Copyright ClearanceWe are checking to see if a copyright fee is required to obtain the requested article.
Awaiting Customer ContactThe requested material has arrived, but the customer has not yet been contacted.
Awaiting Odyssey ProcessingAn article request has been received electronically and is being processed by the ILL staff.
Awaiting Post Receipt ProcessingThe requested material has arrived, but is not yet ready for pickup.
Awaiting Renewal RequestThe customer has requested a renewal on this item. We are waiting for a response for the lending library. Customer may keep the item until notification by an ILL staff member of the new due date.
Awaiting Request ProcessingWe have received your request and it has gone through the copyright clearance process. We will now try to locate potential lenders.
Awaiting Return Label PrintingCustomer has returned item to the library. It is awaiting return processing to the lending library by the ILL staff.
Awaiting Unfilled ProcessingWe have sent your request to potential lenders but no one has filled the request. We will continue to try to obtain the material from other sources.
Cancelled by CustomerILL staff has cancelled the request for a specific reason. Please see the e-mail that was sent when it was cancelled.
Checked Out to CustomerThe item has arrived, been processed by the ILL staff and is currently checked out to the customer.
Customer Notified via E-MailThe item has arrived, been processed by the ILL staff and the customer has been notified by email. It is ready to be picked up at the Circulation Desk in the Mudd Library.
Delivered to WebAn article has arrived, been processed by the ILL staff, and posted to the customer's ILLiad account. It is available to be viewed and/or downloaded electronically using Adobe Acrobat.
In Electronic Delivery ProcessingAn article request has been received electronically and is being processed by the ILL staff.
In Print QueueThe item has arrived, been partially processed by the ILL staff, and is awaiting the printing of the ILL identification label.
Item Checked InThe item has been returned by the customer, checked in by the ILL staff and is waiting return processing.
Lost BooksCustomer has reported this book is lost or damaged. ILL staff is awaiting invoice/replacement charges from the lending library.
Received Incorrect/Partial ItemThe item received either does not match requested item or is incomplete. The ILL staff is correcting the problem.
Request FinishedThe request has been successfully processed and completed. Requests with this status are archived under "View/Request History" button. (Cancelled requests are not considered finished requests and can be found under the "View/Resubmit Cancelled Requests" button). Books have been returned to the lending library.
Request SentThe request has been sent by ILL staff. We are waiting for a lender to ship the item.
