Confidential Resources

What are confidential resources?
Confidential resources are people who are not required to report misconduct. These resources for Lawrence are counselors, health care providers, ministers, sexual assault crisis centers, campus advocate and our designated faculty/staff confidential resources.
 
Anyone who has experienced sexual assault is encouraged to speak with one of these sources as soon as possible as these resources are able to provide advice and support if you’re unsure what to do next.

Non-Confidential Resources

What is non-confidential resources? 
Non-confidential resources ask the school or a third party (like the police to take formal action via formal report. All reports made to a non-confidential person must be reported to the Title IX Coordinator. The Title IX Coordinator will respect your decision to not move forward with an investigation unless the situation/offender presents a direct threat to the community or if this is repeated behavior. It is important to understand that non-confidential resources cannot provide advice on what to do.
