Classes of 1960-69

It’s a recognition that also helps to meet other challenges. In contrast to a narrow course of study at a large university, a Lawrence liberal arts education leads to classroom interactions with students pursuing a variety of majors. This fosters an important appreciation for the broad range of perspectives exhibited by both students and professors. Lawrence’s low student to teacher ratio and quality facilities are important, but also expensive. The opportunity to help students with limited financial resources have access to the high-quality education that Lawrence provides motivates me to continue making financial contributions to the university.”
