What drew you to Lawrence: The main draw of Lawrence for me was its regionally well known music program, and the fact that I'd be able to study in multiple fields.
Favorite studio memory: I'd say my favorite studio memory was of a day that I was not actually there. When my peers were accounting for people who hadn't shown up to studio that day and my name was brought up, Nick Keelan said, "who, Arden Fudge-Budget?" This soon became my new nickname.
What current solo repertoire are you studying: Alexej Lebedev Concerto in One Movement, and Steven Frank Variations on Barnicle Bill, the Sailor.

What drew you to Lawrence: The double degree program was a big draw for me. Being able to pursue my passion for playing music while also satisfying my academic curiosity was a big factor. Also, all my high school visits to Lawrence we're incredibly positive. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, I just knew I had to go here.

Favorite studio memory: Traveling to the Upper Midwest Trombone Summit at UW Eau Claire my sophomore and senior years. It was great studio bonding, and working with other students and teachers from around the midwest was an amazing experience.

What drew you to Lawrence: Learned about LU from Janet Anthony. I'm here to improve my playing on Trombone and Bassoon. When back in Haiti, I will be a professor of these instruments.

What drew you to Lawrence: I felt a unique energy every time I visited campus.  It seemed like people were excited to be there and interested in performing in all areas to the best of their abilities as well as being involved in numerous aspects of student life.  I had continuously been impressed with the conservatory--not just by impressive performances but by the down-to-earth professors and students with whom I interacted.  For the most part all of this remains true!

Favorite studio memory: Hanging out at Björklunden, Lawrence's property on Lake Michigan in Door County
