ACDA (American Choral Directors Association)
Lawrence’s ACDA chapter celebrates students who love the choral art. Our active chapter supports the local WCDA state convention on campus with hundreds of volunteer hours to keep sessions and concerts running smoothly. In 2014, when Lawrence’s advanced choirs performed at the ACDA North-Central conference, our chapter created a fundraiser recital and then supported their continued stay at the conference to attend interest sessions and concerts. Other activities include, for example, bringing in early-career teachers to discuss the transition from college to career.
