Lawrence Scholars in Arts and Entertainment (LSAE) helps prepare students for competitive careers in the following areas:

• acting

In addition to on-campus panel discussions and one-on-one career conversations, LSAE students have had the opportunity to experience the industry fist-hand through trips to Minneapolis, Chicago and Milwaukee.  These varied opportunities provide a diverse platform for students to explore their future while connecting with successful industry professionals who share the common experience of a Lawrence education.

Since 2010 students have met, learned from and been inspired by alumni from organizations and businesses such as the Walker Art Center (Minneapolis), Illusion Theatre (Minneapolis), MacPhail Center for Music (Minneapolis), Springboard for the Arts (Minneapolis), Merit School of Music (Chicago), Alligator Records (Chicago), Steppenwolf (Chicago), Chicago Opera Theater (Chicago), Milwaukee Public Museum (Milwaukee), Broadway Theatre Center (Milwaukee), and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts (Milwaukee).
