Activate your Lawrence Account

This account is your key to digital life at Lawrence. It allows you to access your Lawrence email, the network, and Voyager—the online place where you will apply for housing, register for classes, and check your grades.

To complete the activation process you will need your Lawrence username and temporary password. You will find this information by logging into your admission application status page.

Once you have your username and temporary password, follow the instructions here to complete the activation process.

Complete your Housing Form

Are you a morning person or a night owl? What kind of music do you listen to? Answer these and other questions on your Housing Selection Form in Voyager to help us place you in a great environment. Room assignments are posted to Voyager in mid-July. To access this form within Voyager click Student Services and then Important Forms & Paperwork.

Special Instructions for International Students

Apply for, or transfer, your F-1 Visa

If you are currently living outside of the United States, click here for instructions on applying for your initial F-1 visa.
If you are currently living in the United States and are already an F-1 visa holder, you are eligible to transfer your visa. For instructions on transferring you F-1 VISA, click here.


Submit your arrival information
Once you make travel arrangements, submit your arrival information to International Student Services. If you are attending the Summer Institute you will arrive on August 16. If you are not attending the Summer Institute plan to arrive September 2 or 3 for International Orientation.

Complete Your International Connections Form
Complete your International Connections Form by June 15 to be matched with a peer mentor in early July. This person will serve as a buddy and a resource for you during your transition to Lawrence.

Accept or Decline Student Loans

If you were offered loans as part of your Lawrence Financial Aid Award, you must accept or decline your loans in Voyager. Click here to learn more and begin the process of accepting or declining student loans. If you have any questions we encourage you to call the Financial Aid office at 920-832-6583.

Sign Up For Your Initial Advising Session

Starting in mid-late June, every student will meet with a Lawrence professor, via live video chat. Keep an eye on your Lawrence email for a link to sign up for this first advising session. During your meeting, you will discuss your upcoming courses as well as tips on how to make a successful transition to Lawrence. 

While initial advising occurs in June Conservatory students will not register themselves classes. All initial course registration for Conservatory students is handled by the Conservatory.

Complete Your Advisor Information Survey

Complete your Advisor Information Survey in Voyager to be matched up with the ideal faculty advisor. You will meet with your advisor during Welcome Week and periodically throughout your time at Lawrence. It is possible that the advisor you meet with for your initial summer advising session will be different from the advisor that you are paired with once you arrive on campus.

Register for Classes

Registration for classes occurs from July 8-August 16th. The course registration process takes place in Voyager. Keep an eye on your Lawrence email for complete registration information.

Submit Health Forms

All students are required to submit Health Forms by August 1. Students must have a physical within one year of the first day of classes. For more information on health insurance, or if you are looking to purchase insurance through our partnering insurance company, visit the insurance page.


International students studying in the US on a VISA are also required to have sickness and accident insurance. Each international student at Lawrence is automatically enrolled in the program and billed for the cost unless the insurance waiver form is submitted by July 1 each year. For costs, the waiver form, and more information, visit the International Student Health page.

Complete Online Training and Awareness Courses

All students are required complete online education courses as part of our comprehensive prevention program. These courses include AlcoholEdu, Sexual Assault Prevention, and Diversity & Inclusion.

All three will go live in late August and must be completed by September 7. Keep an eye on your Lawrence email in August for a link to register.

Submit Payment Agreement & Disclosure Form and View Billing Statement

When you register as a student, you establish an open-end account with Lawrence University. The payment of all tuition and fees becomes an obligation upon registration. Your Student Payment Agreement & Disclosure Form contains the terms and conditions of that account, as well as a statement of your rights and responsibilities regarding that account.


Click here for information about ways to submit payments to Lawrence. Your first billing statement will become available in Voyager on July 15. Payment is due August 15.


Starting July 15, you can create an account for a parent or other authorized person who may need access to your billing information. Learn more on the Student Accounts page.

□ Submit Final High School and College Transcripts and AP or IB scores

All official final transcripts (both high school and college level) that include updated grades or graduation information must be submitted Lawrence. Transcripts must come directly from the school, electronically or by mail, in order to be considered official. If mailing transcripts please use the following address. Lawrence University Admissions, 711 E Boldt Way, Appleton, WI 54911.

In addition, be sure to have scores from AP or IB exams sent to Lawrence from the corresponding testing organization.

Prep for Move-in and Welcome Week

Watch for Welcome Week materials, including your first Freshman Studies book, in the mail and in your email!

International students are welcome to move in September 2-3, with mandatory orientation September 4-7.

Freshmen and transfer students will move in September 7.

Note: Fall athletes should check with their coaches about earlier arrivals.
