Which classrooms have a video projector installed?
All of Lawrence's classrooms contain ceiling-mounted projectors. Details about installed equipment are available in the Classroom Technology section.
Who do I contact if I need assistance using classroom equipment?

Are portable projectors available for use on or off campus?
Yes. Call the Library circulation desk (6750) to reserve a portable projector.
Are video cameras available for faculty or students to check out?
Yes. The library has a collection of FLIP cameras that can be checked out. Inquire at the circulation desk on the main floor of the library or call 832-6750 if you wish to reserve a camera in advance.
What sorts of higher end professional video equipment is available?
Students enrolled in Film Studies courses have access to HD cameras, wireless mic kits, and lighting equipment. Contact the Hurvis Center Technical Director (832-7336) for more information.
Which computer labs have video editing software available?
The 15 iMacs in the Hurvis Center Computer Lab (Hurvis 013) have iMovie, Final Cut Pro X, and Adobe CS Master Collection Suite (includes Premiere).
The 6 Mac Pros in the Hurvis Center Editing Lab (Hurvis 015) have Adobe CS Master Collection Suite (includes Premiere). NOTE that this lab has restricted access. Contact the Hurvis Center Technical Director (832-7336) for more information.
The 6 iMacs in the Humanities Computing Lab (Main Hall 108) have iMovie and iDVD.
The 13 iMacs in the Computational Art & Science Lab (Steitz 128) have iMovie and iDVD.
The 12 iMacs in the Music-Drama Computer Lab have iMovie and iDVD.
The 6 PC's in the Warch 408 lab have Adobe Premiere and the full Adobe CS Production Premium suite installed.
Selected PC's (the ones with the larger monitors) in the Library 214 ITC lab have Adobe Premiere and the full Adobe CS Production Premium suite installed.
Where can I go to get help with a video editing project?
Students can receive help Sunday-Thursday evenings (7-10pm) in the Humanities Computing Lab in Main Hall 108.
