Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. Counseling Services staff do not maintain 24 hour access to emails and cannot guarantee that email messages will be read regularly or within a given period of time. To schedule an appointment, please in come to Health Services on the 2nd level of the Wellness Center and complete intake forms on a secure tablet. This will take approximately 15 minutes, so please plan accordingly. Once your intake forms are completed and reviewed, you will receive an email letting you know the next available appointment time with a counselor. After your initial appointment, we are able to offer clients our next open time or work with you to get connected to a community provider who can see you more frequently. We are not in a position to offer standing weekly appointments. Since we are here for all enrolled students, we need to be fair and realistic about scheduling. In urgent or crisis situations we might schedule more than one appointment with a student during a brief period until a situation is resolved. There is no limit to the number of times a student can come in for appointments; however, students who access Counseling Services are typically seen 6 times or less during the academic year.
Lawrence has contracted with a local psychiatrist who joins us for formal consultations several times during the school year. When appropriate he will arrange to meet with students at his office. Students who meet with him at his office will be charged his regular fee.
