Christopher Card, Vice President For Student Life
Christopher Card, a native of Jamaica, considers himself a product of the liberal arts. Chris earned an honors bachelor’s degree from Clark University and a master’s degree in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University. He was appointed as Vice President for Student Life at Lawrence in August of 2017 after serving at Trinity College since 1998. Chris served in a series of roles at Trinity, including Dean of Students since 2015. Passionate about making the campus community a rigorous place for learning and personal development, Chris strives to make our campus a welcoming, affirming and inclusive space for all students. At Lawrence, Chris oversees all aspects of campus life (Residence Life, Campus Activities, Greek Life, Dining Service); the Center for Career, Life, and Community Engagement; the Center for Community Engagement and Social Change; the Diversity and Intercultural Center; International Student Services; Spiritual and Religious Life; and Wellness Services, as well as the operations of the Warch Campus Center and the Dean of Students office. |
