Our mission is to support each other in helping each other prepare for our futures as we grow as young, independent African American women. We do this by educating our communities about our cultures, trying new things and connecting ourselves with others who share our interests.
Led by Lawrence students, Beautiful You meets every Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 in the downtown CLUB Teen Center during the academic year.
Upcoming 2013-14 Projects
• Fall: Volunteer project
• Winter: Multicultural dance in collaboration with HYPE
• Spring: Annual African American Women's Panel
