SAY program staff is happy to help further develop your activity ideas after reviewing your submission, but we'd like to get a general idea of what sorts of activities or topics you would like to cover with the teens. Please note that the SAY program typically cannot provide activity materials beyond basic paper, markers, etc., so any additional materials for your activity would need to be provided by you or your organization.

What is the SAY Program?

The SAY Program links Lawrence students with teens ages 12-18 at our local Boys & Girls Club in downtown Appleton. Teens wanted to build groups in which they could discuss culture and race, get homework help, and build another "home away from home." As a result, Lawrentians helped develop, coordinate and facilitate the 2 current branches of the SAY Program:
