ABOUT THE GAMMA ZETA CHAPTER

 

The Gamma Zeta chapter of Phi Mu Alpha was founded at Lawrence University in 1938, and has since then been an integral part of the Lawrence Conservatory. Often in cooperation with ΣAI, just a few of our events and accomplishments are:


  1. •Preparation for Lawrence University Jazz Weekend

  2. •American Music Recital featuring works of American Composers

  3. •Mills Music Missions to retirement homes

  4. •Clinics with high school and middle school bands

  5. •Commission from Eric Ewazen for retired bandleader Dr. Bob Levy

  6. •ΦMA/ΣAI Formal including a dance-off and sing-off

  7. •SWAHP Feinstein Challenge - 2008-09 winners

  8. •Various other philanthropic doings
