Phi Delts sucessfully dry
(Appleton, Wisconsin November 21, 2000)
The Phi Delta Theta Wisconsin Beta chapter is approaching the end
of a first dry term. Although the change was difficult for some,
the benefits for actives are numerous. As part of a national alcohol-free
program, we are joining our brothers across the country in a return
to our roots. Phis have helped out at the Special Olympics and we
are planning a trip to prepare food for a women's shelter. Phis
have spent more brotherhood time togeather
courtesy of a new big screen
television. Our library was completely cleaned out. Plans are currently
underway to better our public areas. The house acquired a soda
fountain. We feel that these positive changes bring us more
closely in line with the principles of our founding brothers.
