Ritual Masks:
Our first project, which took the longest, was to make ritual masks. First we cut up strips of plaster mask material.
Then we prepared ourselves by putting plastic bags on our heads to protect our hair, plastic over our eyes, to protect them, and petroleum jelly on our faces so the plaster would not stick to our skin (though Liz says that we didn't put enough on her face and it stuck to her anyway)

Katie (front) and Nicole (back) help Liz prepare for the plaster masks by putting petroleum jelly on her face.

Then we took turns lying down and putting plaster on each other's faces with warm water.
Nicole (left) Meghan (back) and KT (right) help Liz (bottom) place the plaster mask strips on her face.

And finally we waited for them to dry.

After painting and decorating them, we were finally finished:

The finished product. Can you tell who's mask it whose?
Dream Pillows:

We also took herbs and filled up small, hand sized tea bags with them for our dream pillows. While doing this we watched our favorite movie, Practical Magic
