how to spend money:
- buy components for a new computer (possibly used as server or guest computer for lan parties)
- spare hard drive(s)

lan party/events:
- try to reserve riverview for saturday the 10th, or the following wednesday for 2 hours starting from 8 or 9 (and have the meeting there)--Dan Z will check on that
- "capture-the-flag-type thing, except with computer security"
- get pictures from club events
- first lan party: Saturday Nov 10th

voting project:
- need to approach LUCC
- find out who's interested in working on it

programming competition:
- need to gather at least 2 teams
- people possibly probably interested: Dan Z, Greg, Duncan, Steve M, Will Dowd, Kendrick

top coder:
- attempt to participate as a group?
- practice rounds to get people warmed up and interacting
- get together before to discuss strategies?

9pm sessions:
- stain-brorming for ideas--Steve M will send out email

website stuff:
- general computer knowledge (e.g., a list of things people could do if their computer has been slow lately, etc.)
- regularly updated meeting minutes
