Service
-thank you to those who helped with faculty babysitting
-there is now a box of toys located at the desk in the Rec Center
-need people to sign up to usher at the Convocation on November 2
-Childrenıs Museum Halloween Programs, October 25-29 from 5-8PM.  Call Megan
C. at the Volunteer Center
-If interested in organizing a team for Relay for Life, call Erika at the
Volunteer Center
-On Tuesday, October 26 from 6-8PM help is needed to box goods that will be
sent to South Africa.  Call Matt if interested.
-Habitat for Humanity will be working at a house site Saturday, October 30
from 7:30AM-2 or 3PM as well as on November 6 from 7:30AM-4PM.  Also on
November 6 from 10AM to 4PM help is needed in preparing food baskets.

Social
-meeting Monday, October 25, 6PM in Downer C
-will discuss the birthday parties and other activities

Historian
-no new business

Publicity
-will meet after large group meeting

Fundraising
-planning a donut sale in Colman and delivery to offices
-sale will require about 5 people to help each week
-first sale will be after the mid-term reading period
-coffee will be sold at Colman
-sign up for times that you are available to help
-meeting Tuesday, October 26, 7PM at the coffeehouse

Standards
-attendance policy discussion
-policy will be revised and discussed at the next large group meeting

Reporting Secretary
-wrote Diamond article

Spring Break
-possibilities in Arizona, Rhode Island, and Vermont

Lambda Sigma will be going to Bjorklunden the weekend of January 21-23.

Presidentıs Report of the National Convention
-made fruit baskets for a nursing home and helped with other activities there
-will meet with Committee heads to discuss suggestions learned from the
convention
-made contacts with other Lambda Sigma members

Discussion of the spring break trip
-will look into the possibility of going with Habitat for Humanity

Will discuss the possibilities for the thank-you activity at the next meeting.
