-planning to have a dance-a-thon sometime during second term
-will plan music themes, costume contests, and dance competitions
-planning a spirit week during third term, possible activities:
-jars set out in Downer with pictures of people next to them,
person
whose picture is next to the jar with the most money in it will
get a pie in
the face
-room decoration contest, raise money from entrance fees
-fundraisers for Valentineıs Day:
-sell flowers
-date match survey, charge for results
-instead of pizza sales, planning to have donut, bagel, and
muffin sale at
Colman
-every Friday, if successful
-if doesnıt work, will go back to pizza sales
-plans to survey customers regarding future purchases
-looking into having coffee
-the first sale will be this Friday, October 15
-e-mail your morning schedules to Crystal or Nick so that shifts
to work

-Outagamie County Juvenile Project, a volunteer or a group of
volunteers
to put on a program or demonstration (art, music, foreign
language
instruction, or a program of your choice) for the teens.
Programs are set
up according to your schedule. Call Megan C. at the
Volunteer Center.
-If interested in participating in the Relay for Life in any form
call Erika
at the Volunteer Center.
-If interested in being a part of Habitat for Humanity, call Beth
Halpern at
x7421 or Dave Frye. Meet on October 16 at 7:30AM at the
turn around near
the library if interested in working on a house. The work
should be done
around 2 or 3PM.
-National Make a Difference Day, Childrenıs Museum, October 23,
12- 2PM,

-Megan C. works in the Volunteer Center on Mondays and Wednesdays
from
3:30-5:30PM and Fridays 11AM-1PM if you need to contact her
there.

Beth is writing the newsletter for the Diamond. Let her
know if you have any
suggestions. She will be including information about New
Student Week.
Lambda Sigma is currently scheduled to go to Bjorklunden on
January 21-23, but
Michelle is trying to move our weekend to October 29-31.
The weekend of
November 12-14 is also another possibility.
The homecoming dance had a low turnout.
