Lambda Sigma Meeting Minutes

• Jami announced some service oppurtunities and a interest sheet was sent around.
• The CROP Walk is Sunday, Oct 12. Meet in Riverview at 11:15 AM.
• NAMI Walk  is this Saturday Oct 4! Check-in  is 7:45-8:45 AM at Memorial Park.
• Have fun with kids! The Boo Bash takes place Oct 30 and 31 with shifts from 1-5 and 5-9 at the City Center.

• Everyone gets one excused absense. For every excused absense, you will need to do 30 minutes of work to help the group. Any unexcused absenses will result in having to do one additional hour of service.
• If you are going to be absent from a meeting, please e-mail John Crawford by Monday at 5:00 PM.
• 30 hours of service are required per year. Each member should have approximately 7 hours after 1st term, 15 hours after 2nd term, and at least 30 by the end of 3rd term. If there seems like there will be an issue with completing the 30 hours, talk to John.

• Let Kwest-Ann and Sade know if you have any ideas for some fun Lamda Sigma activities.

• A question about how to track service hours was brought up. Each member will keep track of their own hours and will be expected to follow the Honor Code.
• Official meeting time is Monday at 8:00 PM in the Sage basement. We will probably not meet during Reading Period and Finals Week.
