- CHAIN Reaction Day is Saturday, Oct 25. Help elderly people with outdoor chores and such. This will probably be in the early afternoon. Sign-up sheet was passed around.
- The Committee met yesterday and discussed the possibility of a sort of Winter Festival (something like ArtsBridge) with activities for children

- Social:
- It has been suggested that we have a sort of hiking/picnic group outing sometime soon. The time and place are TBD. Get excited!
- Old Business
- New Business
- Adrienne Gallagher from the Volunteer Center stopped by to inform us all of some great volunteer opportunities. She passed around a sign-up sheet but you can also contact her for more info.
- There is a need for VITAL tutors who would be willing to work about 1 hr/week tutoring an Appleton student in the library on various subjects.
- The Emergency Shelter (Near the PAC) always needs extra help. They need people to perform secretarial duties (a few hours at a time), to clean, and to cook.
- Opportunity for working as security at a Packer Game! Carpooling is available and you would make $8/hr that would go to the Emergency Shelter
- People are needed to help set up the giving tree(s) at Walmart. Possibly we could start something like this on campus?
- Nov 11 is the Emergency Shelter Annual Benefit Gala and they need people to help serve, control the crowds, etc.
- Questions/Concerns/Complaints
- Future Business
- Posters are around campus for the Saturday of Service opportunities. Keep your eyes open and we will discuss more about this next week.
- Toiletries drive will take place later on in the year.
Respectfully Submitted,
Emily Hoffman
