Hello my fellow Lambda Sigma Members:

1. If you could not attend this meeting, you need to e-mail Jena where you live, your extension (or another preferred phone number), and your e-mail address if you want to change it from your summer e-mail.

2. Next Thursday there is another Convocation. We are in need of 6 ushers. If you can usher, e-mail Jena.

3. T-shirt ideas? Any ideas would be appreciated. E-mail the publicity committee with your fabulously wonderful ideas for a SWEET shirt.

4. Reminder! Lambda Sigma is scheduled to go to Bjork from Nov. 11-13th. Let Jena know if you cannot make it.

5. Congratulations to last year’s Lambda Sigma. For the seventh year in a row, they received honors for their hard work. “Now that’s some pressure” –Leila

6. Freshman Activity
-E-mail Liz (that’s me) or Jena with ideas for games
-we are going to Edison elementary for a few hours at about 3pm on October 3rd.
-if you are interested let Jena know ASAP

7. CROP walk
-only the coolest thing EVER
-We listened to a little talk about the CROP walk and signed up
-this year CROP walk is on Oct 9th
-we are meeting in Riverview at 12:40
-to get a pledge sheet, sign up to walk, or donate money, e-mail Liz or Sam

8. Gaston Razafy
-Regional director of CROP walk/expert on hunger and poverty issues
-Coming to speak to Lawrence, this Thursday at 7pm in the Coffeehouse
-Educate yourself.
-It’d be great if you could come. Hope to see you there.

9. Fundraisers?
-We need to do one soon
-e-mail Jena or fundraising committee with ideas
