Lambda Sigma Meeting

Meeting started at 8:05 p.m (Our first meeting of the year and we are already late!)
Emily has us play a little game with balloons tied around our feet! We had a minor crisis when we RAN OUT OF RIBBON! (oops!) Congratulations to our winners: Bao, Sara and Merideth!
The report about the Marathon is that those who helped didn’t do much so it was rather boring and worthless! [Although I do hear you had the opportunity to pick up garbage!]
Bjorklunden is a go over reading period which is November 3rd-5th! Remember this is mandatory and will be a great time for everyone!! PLEASE PLEASE contact Emily if you have any conflicts!
IMPORTANT: There was a request to move the general meeting times on Mondays to 8:15pm. The new time was approved at the meeting so please make note of it!
Emily extends a warm thank you to all who helped with the Marathon and Convo this past week! Your service is greatly appreciated!

Our big freshmen event has been opened up to the entire campus. We want to host it in Riverview and are still working on a date to hold it. There will be snacks, games, music, and fun times! If anyone wants to or is willing to help please contact Michelle because there is a lot that needs to be done!
T-Shirts!! We want to get them as soon as possible!! IF you have any ideas, designs or colors for the shirts please let Mandy know ASAP so the publicity committee can get that going!
We will be voting on the number of service hours required next week! (FYI: the committee chairs talked about this after and we have some proposals that will be shared next week! (So be sure to be there!!!!)
Emily asked that we all bring our planners to the meetings so we can look at dates and figure out who’s free to do what right at the meeting
There was a sign-in sheet that was passed around today with contact information of all LS members. If you were not here or did not sign the sheet please send your name, extension, address on campus, and cell-phone if you wish to Emily so she can get that produced for next week!
