Lambda Sigma Meeting
February 28th 2005
Meeting started at 8:15 p.m
Reminder that we will be ushering for the convo on Tues. March 8th
Do we want to do the perfect cheer? (Our group would come up with a cheer and perform it on Wed April 6th at 8pm) We will vote next week.
Be thinking about a candidate for the lambda Sigma scholarship with is a $500 scholarship. We can nominate one person to compete against all other chapters and we will decide next week!
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Publicity: Nothing to report
Standards: Nothing to report!
Selection: Applications go out tomorrow! How exciting!
Service: What do you all think about creating a book board so students can post books they want to sell (Instead of getting ripped-off at Conkeys…that’s off the record of course!)
Fundraising: The group is still working on the raffle and it seems to be going well. They will also be teaming with the social committee to plan a social event at the beginning of next term!
Social: no news ;)
As mentioned at least week’s meeting, we have some $ issues. We will need to do a lot of fundraising to make up for this. Sarah suggested going off campus and getting money from the community. As of right now, Meredith, Kelsey, Stephanie, and Mandy have all agreed to spear-head a committee to get this organized.
Lastly, all officers and committee chairs are signing up for 1 on 1’s with Emily. If you did not do so at the meeting please contact her ASAP so we can fix it for third term.
Congratulations to lamb of the week: Danielle Jordan! We appreciate all your efforts in getting the raffle organized. (And of course that extends to others who are putting in the time like Annemarie! )
