Lambda Sigma Meeting Minutes

May 6, 2002

The 2002-2003 Lambda Sigma members selected their officers prior to the

meeting.

Celebrate

We are helping with Celebrate clean-up this Saturday, at 6 pm. Everyone

who signed up to clean should meet in front of Wriston at the yellow

twisted arches.

Shack-A-Thon

The Shack-A-Thon will be held on Ormsby Green on May 18 and 19. A

sign-up sheet went around again for people who are interested in

building a shack. Erin Grier, Stacey, and Donna offered to come up with

a plan for the shack. People should be looking for materials that could

be used.

Krispy Kremes

We sold 140 dozen this time around, and made about $400.

The delivery will be held on Tuesday. A sign-up sheet went around for

people to help deliver the krispy kremes to the academic buildings

between 10 and 12. Anyone who can help should meet at Raymond house at

10 or 11 am.

If anyone is interested in being a junior advisor for next year's group,

they should come next Monday, May 13 at 7:45 (before the meeting) to

give a short description of themselves and capabilities to the new

group.

Jon V. handed out service hour sheets to the group.

We talked about having an end of the year event, such as a cook-out.

The Bjorklunden clean-up trip was successful.

Even though the new group has been selected, our group will still

continue through the term. In other words, we are not finished!

The next meeting will Monday, May 13, at 8 pm. The new members will be

meeting at 7 pm to elect committee chairs.
