Some people were concerned about getting their service hours for the term.  Some upcoming projects include:

-         Mortar Board’s trick or treating project

-         The ARO house is hosting a speaker for at-risk children.

-         Habitat for Humanity will be doing housing projects for the next three weekends.

-         VIVA is planning a spring break service project in Paraguay.

Fundraising Committee:  Planning to have a pizza sale on Nov. 19.  More information at the next meeting.

Selection Committee:  They will send out most of the application letters at the end of second term, but also some at the beginning of third term.  They would like to have initiation on a Friday so people have fewer conflicts.  The rituals have to be planned by January 31 and the list of new members has to be sent in by approx. June 1.

Short discussion of our Bjorklunden trip.  It will mostly be a time for fellowship.

We are starting the Lamb of the Week!  If you know someone who deserves the lamb, email Kelly or Brian.

Thank you to those who ushered at the Q and A session with Jane Goodall!

The next meeting will be on November 5 at 8pm in Sage Lounge.

                       Sincerely,

                       Krissa Matthews
