Lambda Sigma Meeting Minutes

Initiation

Initiation of the 2002-2003 Lambda Sigma members will be held on Friday,

April 26, 2002 at 8:30 pm in Lucinda's.

-There are 31 new members, but 3 or 4 of them will not be able to attend

the initiation.

-We have a cake ordered and Carrie is going to pick it up.

-We will also get some balloons.

-We have yellow roses with blue ribbons for the new members.

-Everyone picked a little lamb at the meeting. If you were not at the

meeting, please talk to Amy Briggs to find out who your little lamb is.

You need to see Linda at Raymond House to pick up a rose before 5 pm on

Friday. You will pick your little lamb up at there room, give them

their rose, and bring them to initiation. Don't forget to pick out a

quote to give them at initiation and it would also be nice to decorate

their door with signs.

-Dress is semicasual.

-Anyone who is speaking during initiation needs to come to the practice

run-through on Thursday, April 25 at 9:30 pm in Ormsby Lounge.

Tutoring

We need people to sign up to help the the after-school program. Right

now there are 11 kids coming, and it would be nice to have 3 or 4 people

come on each day. If you're available to help, contact Courtney. We

will be doing the program until May 23 and we may also invite the new

members to help out.

Service Opportunity: There is a Scavenger Hunt for supplies for the

homeless shelter on Saturday, April 27 at 12:45. Meet in Colman Lounge.

Shack-A-Thon

We are signed up for the shack-a-thon. We may invite the new members if

we need more people to participate.

The Krispy Kreme forms are due next Monday, April 29 to Linda at Raymond

House.

Pizza!!

We will be going out for pizza this Saturday, April 26. We will have

two cars driving us there. Meet in front of Sage at 6:30 pm. Don't

forget to bring $2 if you have not already paid.

There is a convocation on Tuesday, April 30. They will be needing

ushers.

If you hold a position in Lambda Sigma, be prepared to talk about it to

the new members at the next meeting. They are going to have to pick

positions soon, so it will help to give them an idea of what they will

be doing.

The next meeting will be on Monday, April 29 at 8:00 pm in Sage Lounge.
