K'lar is a realm of
Dagorhir, a division of the national organization, Dagorhir Battle Games Association
(DBGA). Paperwork is being drawn up to make K'lar a unit in a national
Dagorhir Chapter, Pahmoten. Check back for updates.
Based off the Lawrence University campus in Appleton, WI, K'lar started
informally in 2002 with three members called together by Sirilay
Innaniel. Practices consisted of duels, and the realm
only had two swords and as many active members to its name. Now, it draws
an active membership of 5 or 6 from a pool of a dozen fighters, and
interest is growing all the time.
K'lar, in reality, is a continent that is the main focus of a trilogy to
be published in the future. It means "Great Dream" in the Old
Language (lar being "dream," and k being the
suffix for "great"), discovered about 2,500 years prior by a
