Greenfire is the "unofficial" base for the Wisconsin Conservation Team in Appleton. Greenfire is a student activist group focused on effecting environmental change on campus, in the local community, and nationally. The focus this year has been on reducing Lawrence’s ecological footprint. Our current projects include working with Food Services to integrate organic foods into the menus and to offer fair trade coffee in the Coffeehouse and Downer, working with the administration on green building techniques for the soon-to-be-built Union, and trying to implement a composting system at Lawrence. News

I just wanted to mention that an official site for the Wisconsin Conservation Team is at
http://www.conservationteams.org/.

I apologize for a lack of an update on this page but I have been unable
to find the time to add the details of our progress in Appleton on the
website. Please check back soon.
