-Exciting mail to the Greenfire house this week: a

postcard to the group from Peter Maldanado and Amy's big

book of everything Greenfire.

-Good news: We finally have fair trade coffee back in the

coffee shop! Meera's writing an article for the One

Minute Left

-This Saturday there's a house event: Campus clean up at

11:30 (meet at the house) and letter writing party at 1 at

the house. There'll be food and all that good stuff too.

Come, especially if you have any issues you'd like to

write letters about!

-Harvest Dinner is Monday the 22nd at Lucy's from

5:30-7:30. We're also kicking off the clean plate club

that night. Holly Ben and Noah are going to set up a

table to give out info on amount of food wasted, organic

farming all that good stuff. The goal is to make them run

out of food, so bring friends!

-Noah's meeting with Pres Beck about Environmental

Management System before the end of the term. Small

victories, guys, small victories.

-GLOW is borrowing a good idea and starting a "Little

Something Gay" campaign. Amusement.

-ORC approached us about Adopting a Family for the

Holidays, along with the Coop. More details to follow.

-MAD PLUG! Write articles for the One Minute Left over

Thanksgiving break! Pretty much anything political/to the

left is an awesome topic. Also, talk to Melanie

(farleym@lawrence.edu) if you're interested in working on

the paper.

-Anyone interested in being on the Committee on

Environmental Responsibility, applications are at the info

desk, and there's still slots open.

-LCF wants us to cosponsor a speaker, Kal Dewitt (probably

misspelled) with them. He's an evangelical Christian and

environmentalist. After much (much) discussion and

deliberation, we've decided to wait until we have more

informations about the guy and what he wants to speak

about before we vote.

-Flag ideas? Submit them to Brent.

-We're making boxes for onesided paper to put by printers

at the next meeting, so it'll be craft time with

Greenfire!!

Sorry my minutes are more lengthy and less amusing than

the normal ones, though I've enjoyed my brief stint as

secretary.
