Heyo Greenfire,

What’s goin’ on:

 

The focus of this meeting was about positions in Greenfire next year. 

We are voting on this NEXT THURSDAY.

The positions we will be voting on are secretary, treasurer, and 2 co-presidents.

 

If you are interested in fulfilling a position or nominating someone else, email Steve (rognesss@lawrence.edu) asap. 

You should consider running for any of these positions regardless of prior experience.

                                                                                           

Prospective people interested in being Co-presidents are:
Jesse, Brent, Evan, Noah (possibly) & Meera (possibly)

 

Tresurer:

Alex, Alex (the other one), Peter, and Catherine

 

Secretary:
Me (MATT: VOTE FOR ME!), and Jenny (gone first term)

 

Finally, and most significantly, we will have to start filling in essential subcommittee positions, listed at the bottom of the email.  Think about what you want to do, and what is not here that you want to do or see done.

 

Next Thursday, we will almost definitely have food at the meeting.  Less importantly, the voting will occur and all the members of the Greenfire house next year should be there, because there will be a Greenfire house meeting.  We have to discuss food plans (we need a separate form or something), among other good stuff.  Greenfire house members will also be voting for whose gonna’ run this organization next year.

 

New student week recruiting:
The plan is to make notebooks, and possibly assignment planners, along with having material to handout, and a booth.  The paper company across the river from the co-op, has sweet recycled paper, and will bind them up too.  There should be (hopefully) some dolla’s in LUCC we could get for this.  The notebook planning mini-meeting should take care of all the particulars.

 

We are planning to rock some day-trippen’ to a farm on the weekend between 10th week and 11th week, specifically Saturday, June 5th.  Noah is hooking it up with some sweet farmer action.

 

Little Something Green:  I am starting the preliminary steps of this on Sunday.  More to come on this soon.
