4/15/04  Yo Greenfire people,

Come live at the Greenfire House next year.  Deadline is MONDAY (4/19). [email Beth kondileb@lawrence.edu]

Greenfire house will most likely be in the current symposium house.

We rocked some notebook making in the beginning of the meeting, while listening to opportunities for summer internships.  The internships involve canvassing type work about environmental issues.  Wisconsin is a swing state for voters, so this work is anti-Bush.  Opportunities at Madison and Milwaukee. It’s unpaid, free housing if you work for a month, and “some” food.

Join people in attending the (4/17 Saturday) Green Bay earth day festivals <email rognesss@lawrence.edu>.  So far the people signed up are Suzanne, Liz, Beth, Evan, Alex, Shauna, Rachel, Peter, Anna, and Steve.

On Sunday (4/18) we are painting the wall.  Meet at 11 am and 4 pm at the infodesk.  People signed up are Noah and Amy for 11, and Suzanne, Beth, and Holly at 4.  Email Suzanne (ozments@lawrence.edu) if you want to paint.

There is an Earth Day celebration at Oshkosh on the 19th (Mon).  I sent out an info email, you all got it.  If you want another, email me.

Come to distribute flyers for Robert Martin (should just take about 30 minutes), on 4/20 Tuesday.  We will be meeting at the Union infodesk at 7 PM.  <email Steve>.  People who signed up are Kat, Noah, Suzanne, Melanie, Emily, Alex, and Christine.

4/21 Wednesday - Robert Martin will be here.  He will be talking on Bush administration environmental policies.
If you wanna rock some lunch with Robert Martin that day, you should email Steve.

Next, next Saturday (4/24) come to make some rocking and expansive signs for Earth Day.  Meet at the Co-op at 8 PM.    People who are making some signs include Kat, Jenny, Suzanne, Beth, Holly, Melanie, Amy, Emily.

Also, we are putting flyers under doors and have a mandatory chalking session on the 29th, Thursday.  The meeting on that day will be foregone in preference to the advertising activities.  That’s how important it is.

5/01 EARTH DAY!

That's all for now, unless I forgot alot of stuff.

P.S.    PROPS TO STEVE ON THAT ROBERT MARTIN POSTER.  I said Steve should have moved the lettering up a little, but for artistic reasons he imposed the lettering on the picture.  Of the decision Steve said "It was a tough call...we all gotta make choices" 4/15/04 10:59 PM. Rock on Steve, rock on.
