Greenfire minutes 22 January

Sorry these minutes’so late. I done fergoten that I didn’t sind ‘em out.

It is a bit late now, but One Minute Left articles are due tomorrow-Tuesday, at 8pm. Send them to oneminuteleft@hotmail.com If there is anything that you want to write about, send it in. Anything slightly political, slightly left, green etc. Something about the Environmental Management System would be grrrreat.

Clean Plate Day went well. We’ll have results soon.

Sunday 8 Feb at UW-Oshkosh there is a climate change conference. One of the keynote speakers is a rabbi who helped found the Institute for policy studies. Tell Steve is you’re interested.

Batteries + does not recycle alkaline batteries. (and that leaves us…) Brent found a place in California that will recycle them, $50 per 45lbs. of batteries.

The weekend of the 20 Feb. will be the winter retreat to bjorklunden. If interested, contact Steve.

Progressive dinner will have to happen some time soon. We’ll get in touch with the co-op and ORC houses to organize and discuss.
