Greenfire Minutes for 15 January

On Tuesday at 12:30 people will meet with George Meyer about the Environmental Management System.

There will be a CER meeting at 12:30 in Riverview on Wednesday.

Earth Day brainstorming meeting at 12:00 in Downer E (don’t know the day)

There is a Climate Change Conference at UW-Oshkosh on 8 Feb.

Sierra Club of Appleton meets every second Thursday at 7pm at Bubolz nature Center.

We’re thinking of doing a Green Graduation- this off-sets the energy the school expends on any one day (or week), preferably the week of graduation and Alumni weekend. The cost is $500/day.

Dorms-whose doing them??? Make sure you do your job. Look at LSG signs, recycling, pizza boxes, talk to custodians. Everything. I will remind you of who has which dorm later.

***Thursday is Clean Plate Club Day. The entire week is celebrated. We will be scraping plates on Thursday. Steve will send an e-mail out to those who signed up for tabling/food scraping.
