As a house, we have:

• made a pamphlet for freshmen on how to be environmentally responsible at Lawrence
• petitioned to state senators to reject artic oil drilling
• provided students with an opportunity to stop getting junk mail (thus saving paper)
• co-sponsored geology-related student colloquia during first term
• created this website

Things we have planned:

• battery recycling in dorms
• Earth Day!
• create an organic garden on campus
• out-door recycling bins
• Roots and Shoots
• Letter-writing campaign against cyanide mining in Crandon, WI
• upcoming speaker
• nature-theme poetry reading in the Coffee House
