Land Adventure Includes:

  • 1 night accommodation at Pike's Waterfront Lodge in Fairbanks, 3 night accommodations at the Grande Denali Lodge, and one night accommodation at Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage (accommodations subject to change) with breakfast each morning at your hotel (breakfast is also available on the train on Day 2)
  • Transport aboard the distinguished Alaska Railroad with upgraded GoldStar Service, including reserved seating in the upper-level, glass-dome car, priority seating in the dining room, breakfast (with two alcoholic beverages/unlimited non-alcoholic beverages) during the Fairbanks to Denali segment, and lunch and dinner (with two alcoholic beverages/unlimited non-alcoholic beverages) during the Denali to Anchorage segment.
  • Hotel courtesy shuttle between Grande Denali Lodge, the rail depot, the Park Visitor Center, and Denali's downtown, Glitter Gulch.
  • A full-day, exclusive wilderness tour into Denali National Park with your expedition leader, a Park naturalist guide, and box lunch.
  • A lively dinner event with a special presentation from a Murie Science and Learning Center educator.
  • Services of an expedition leader.
  • Transfers between the airport and hotel for guests arriving and departing during the suggested times.
  • Gratuities for expedition leader, local guides, drivers, porters, housekeeping, and wait staff for included meals.


Cruise Adventure Includes:

  • 7 nights aboard the Admiralty Dream.
  • All onboard hand-crafted meals – 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches, and 7 dinners— including a special Captain’s Farewell Dinner, and wine and beer at lunches and dinners.
  • An onboard lecture program and educational guidance of two expert naturalists including an expedition leader, and a Park Ranger and Native Huna Tlingit Cultural Heritage Guide during a visit to Glacier Bay National Park.
  • Guided kayaking, hiking, walking, skiff excursions, and wildlife viewing where humpback whale, orca, brown bear, Steller sea lion, harbor seal, sea otter, arctic tern, bald eagle, and other populations are frequently spotted.
  • Transfers from the Juneau International Airport at program start and end.
  • All port fees and entry fees to parks, preserves, museums, attractions and special excursions as described in the itinerary.
  • Gratuities for the expedition leader, airport transfer drivers, and drivers/guides on included land excursions.
  • Airport transfers for guests arriving and departing during the suggested times.

Travel insurance for travel accident, loss/damage/delay of baggage, flight insurance and trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.  Applications will be provided with the deposit forms.


Dietary & Health Considerations
This program will be moderately active and will include walking uphill, walking on uneven surfaces, and the handling of luggage. It is the responsibility of the tour participant to advise in advance of any health or dietary limitations that may affect the tour's successful operation or compromise the tour participant's enjoyment, including, but not limited to, getting on and off a motor coach, climbing stairs, or walking with any impediment. There is a no-smoking policy on the motor coach. No inoculations are required for travel to Alaska at this time; however, you may wish to check with your doctor about any precautions you may need to take based on your health conditions.


Tour Cancellation & Alteration
TravelStore and Lawrence University reserve the right to cancel this trip if a minimum number of participants is not reached. In that eventuality, any payments made to TravelStore for this tour will be refunded without penalty, and without further obligation on the part of TravelStore or Lawrence University.

TravelStore Inc. and Lawrence University also reserve the right to cancel the program if, due to circumstances beyond TravelStore's or Lawrence University control, the tour cannot be conducted substantially as outlined. TravelStore reserves the right to make minor alterations that do not significantly affect the content of the tour.
