Ragazze

Ragazze is a training choir for singers in grades 3-5 who identify as female. No audition required. Singers will learn the basics of healthy singing through the use of folk songs and singing games, and perform on both the fall and spring Girl Choir concerts in the Lawrence Memorial Chapel.

    • Tickets for the the December 8 Girl Choir concerts are now on sale. They can be purchased through the Lawrence University Box Office in-person, over the phone, and online.

Choir Materials

  • Students must bring a two-pocket folder and two sharpened pencils to every rehearsal.
  • Music is the property of the Academy.
  • Students new to the program will receive a tote bag that becomes theirs.
  • Additional or replacement bags can be purchased through the Academy office at the cost of $10 plus tax.

Concert Uniform

  • A short sleeve red shirt for the concerts is included in the tuition price. Shirts will be distributed at rehearsal.
  • Ragazze singers must wear black pants, black socks and black closed-toed, flat-heeled dress shoes.
  • Post-style earrings for concerts are acceptable, no hoops.
  • Hair accessories should be small and the color of the hair. Hair must be its natural color.

Electronics Policy

Cell phones, iPods, electronic readers, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited during ensemble rehearsals and back stage during concerts. If a family emergency takes place during a rehearsal or concert, please contact the ensemble manager.
