Music for the Very Young (ages 6 mo. - 3 years)

Form a learning team with your child, as you explore rhythm and melody in fun classes that feature age-appropriate songs, games, and activities designed to promote understanding of basic musical concepts. This hands-on experience utilizes traditional, folk, and percussion instruments. Classes are designed for adult-child pairs. No siblings please.

 

Music for the Very Young - Siblings (1-5 years)

This family class encourages siblings, aged 1-5 years, to have fun with music, singing, playing instruments and sharing musical citifies. Class is for parent/caregiver and two children of different ages. (not recommended for twins under age 2)

  • Thursday classes: Sept. 24, Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Nov. 5, 12 (Nov. 19*)
  • Sunday classes: Sept. 27, Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25, Nov. 1, 8, 15 (Nov. 22*)

*Make-up classes in case of teacher illness. Children may miss a class due to illness, vacation, or family events; because most classes run at maximum enrollment, we do not offer make-up or switching option for absences.
