Sue Toepel, band camp theory instructor, teaches fifth grade band, chorus, and general music for the Kiel Area School District. Though she spends most of her time at the middle school, she also enjoys teaching two sessions of Kindergarten music at the elementary school. She earned her bachelor’s degree in instrumental, Kodaly, and vocal music from Silver Lake College, and her master’s degree from Cardinal Stritch. Susan lives in Kiel, where she is a member of the Kiel Municipal Band, and performs with the Celebration Choir of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Sue also enjoys performing in local theater productions with her husband Steve.
