Corrie Kovacs received her B.F.A. in Musical Theater from Millikin University. She then worked with American Folklore Theatre, playing Peggy Kiester in Packer Fans from Outer Space. After moving to NYC, she performed with the Plainfield Symphony Orchestra as the soprano soloist in numerous concerts. Corrie has worked in theatre, film, and commercials with such notables as Tom Cruise, Dakota Fanning, Steven Spielberg, and Jerry Stiller. Favorite shows include an AUDELCO Award-nominated performance of My Children! My Africa!, Broadway tours Smokey Joe’s Café & Sophisticated Ladies, new productions Nab-a-Date and Superhero Celebrity Rehab: The Musical! as well as starring in book shows like I Do! I Do! and Broadway Sally. She has experience working on numerous revues. Last April, Corrie performed at the UW Fox Valley Campus as Penny in Hairspray and will be performing in this April's UW Fox production of Dream Role.
